NSW SUPREME COURT GRANTS BAIL TO GROOVE ROBBERS FOR SUNDAY SESSION.
The NSW Supreme Court has granted bail to the Groove Robbers on condition that they play the Sunday Session at the Hoey Moey on Sunday 14th January, 2018, at 4pm.
Their Barrister, Howard I Know, said outside Court that Long Bay was no place for a fake glam rock band and that they need to serve the community by bringing joy , harmony and rare rashes to the public at large . They have had enough solitary confinement and after 16 years together can almost remember how to play all their hits, (sometimes).
Police have been unable to identify the person or persons operating the drone that dropped dozens of knickers into the gaol compound but the main suspect is the band’s roadie, Chuck Steak who has done time previously for snow dropping.
The audience can expect the usual mayhem caused by men in tights with too much makeup , bad wigs and platform underwear. An oversupply of Marshall stacks, glitter and feathers complete the atrocity. Ear plugs and baby oil are a must.
The band’s Limo is booked for 4pm sharp, so get there early for the full debacle.
