DESCRIPTION:We have three epic bands for you on Saturday\, 12 August … The Tyrants with Blind Pretty and Hey Lenny! \nThe Tyrants are an alternative Indie Rock Band consisting of four best mates from Central Coast (Darkinjung)\, NSW AUS. \nIndie/rock band\, Blind Pretty\, consists of members\, Ned Ambrose (lead guitar)\, Della Baldwin (bass\, vocals)\, Beau Hussell (drums\, vocals)\, Jesse Falzon (guitar\, lead vocals). The band met each other in early 2022 through school. Since then they have released their debut single ‘Getting Better’ in 2023 and they’re currently working on their debut EP. They are in the process of road testing the songs at their live shows. They have played a variety of shows with bands like The Moving Stills and The Terrys who of which are big inspirations to the band. Along with Spacey Jane\, Sam Fender\, and Kings of Leon and The Backseat Lovers. \nHey Lenny deliver their audience a dose of indie rock mixed with alternative pop\, combined with snappy lyrics and melodies that’ll keep you dancing for days. The Hey Lenny boys have been playing for around 6 months now and continue to grow and develop their sound deriving from inspirations of Surf Rock from bands like Beddy Rays\, DICE and captivating storytelling and melodies from bands such as The Backseat Lovers.

DESCRIPTION:Enjoy live music with Sam Buckley from 6pm – 9pm at the Hoey Moey! \n\nOriginally from Barraganyatti\, on the Mid North Coast of NSW\, Sam Buckley lived in Sydney and Melbourne for the last 16 years performing in high-level bands. He toured internationally and performed at many music festivals in Australia. \nIn recent years\, he performed in Dreamboogie\, who were a highly polished and dynamic live Blues band\, led by charismatic singer Rebecca Davey. The band’s innovative sound incorporating electronic loops resulted in wins at the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society’s Blues Performer of the Year Challenge in 2016 and Band of the Year at the 2018 Victorian-Tasmanian Blues Awards. \nSam is currently embarking on his solo career and recording his debut album\, Blue Ocean\, with Lester Snell and Royal Studios in Memphis. This is a very exciting time and a privilege to be working with industry luminary Lester and the Stax players behind the success of artists such as Albert King and Al Green. Sam is sometimes called ‘Jimi Hendrix’ and ‘Stevie Ray-Vaughn’ – he is infamous for his electric guitar bends\, warm vibrant tone and roaring groove.

Leaving Coffs at 22 joined a 6 piece group called “Electric” traveling throughout Singapore\, Malaysia\, Indonesia and Beijing for 9 months. Other countries her singing has taken her to are Hong Kong\,Thailand\, Scotland\, London and 8 years in Japan at Hilton and Sheraton Hotels. Whilst in London Mandy recorded BV’s and a duet on Mickey Graham’s (from BoyZone ) album. Meeting many interesting people and writing with them\, entered into and won!! UK’s hottest unsigned band with song “Big Trip” in 2001. Now living happily back in Australia with Husband Michael in their new outfit called “Who’s Charlie”.\n\nMichael Dobney:\nPiano- Keyboards- Singer- song writer\nMichael has been playing piano since the age of seven studying classical\, jazz and numerous other styles. Also having had experience in theatre\, stage\, MC hosting and numerous bands over the years\, Michael’s professional musical life has been a successful one. Holding a residency at Brisbane’s Treasury Casino for three years\, six nights a week with Australia’s first “Dueling Piano’s”. He then took his talents abroad to Japan for 8 years performing 6 nights a week at Hilton Hotels and Sheraton Hotels. Producing all of “Who’s Charlie” backing tracks with a superb quality\,he has moulded a solid sound… combined with his unique style as a pianist/vocalist you wont be disappointed when you watch it all come to life.
