DESCRIPTION:Matty Devitt has been writing songs and performing for the past 12 years in and around the Coffs Harbour\, Byron Bay\, and Fraser coast areas. \nMatty also spent 2 years in Brighton\, UK\, enjoying much success on the local circuit. \nDuring this time Matty linked up with two amazingly talented unknown guitarists\, Wes DeWitt of Canada\, and Richard Atherton of England and proceeded to take out the “Best Original Musician” Category at the 2008 Bunderburg Rum\, Blues over Byron Busking Competition\, after which Matty took out the Best Song in the indigenous category at the 2008 Q Song Awards. \nThey have performed at the 2008 and 2009 Eastcoast Blues and Roots festival to a captive audience\, the 2008 Caloundra Music festival and 2009 Dreaming festival\, Recorded their Debut Album “Chosen This Life” @ Studio 301 in Byron Bay\, and independently released it earlier this year.

DESCRIPTION:Enjoy live music with Sam Buckley from 6pm – 9pm at the Hoey Moey! \n\nOriginally from Barraganyatti\, on the Mid North Coast of NSW\, Sam Buckley lived in Sydney and Melbourne for the last 16 years performing in high-level bands. He toured internationally and performed at many music festivals in Australia. \nIn recent years\, he performed in Dreamboogie\, who were a highly polished and dynamic live Blues band\, led by charismatic singer Rebecca Davey. The band’s innovative sound incorporating electronic loops resulted in wins at the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society’s Blues Performer of the Year Challenge in 2016 and Band of the Year at the 2018 Victorian-Tasmanian Blues Awards. \nSam is currently embarking on his solo career and recording his debut album\, Blue Ocean\, with Lester Snell and Royal Studios in Memphis. This is a very exciting time and a privilege to be working with industry luminary Lester and the Stax players behind the success of artists such as Albert King and Al Green. Sam is sometimes called ‘Jimi Hendrix’ and ‘Stevie Ray-Vaughn’ – he is infamous for his electric guitar bends\, warm vibrant tone and roaring groove.

Strange for someone you’ve probably never heard of until now\, but hey\, that’s showbiz! \nLisa was an international chart topper in the UK with LOVESTATION’s ‘Soulsation’ CD. American soundtracks compositions include HBO’s ‘Subway Stories’ (directed by Jonathan Demme)\, ‘Goodnight Moon’ with LAURYN HILL\, NATALIE COLE\, PATTI LABELLE\, BILLY CRYSTAL & SUSAN SARANDON. Lisa’s studio credits include sessions with famed producers Jellybean Benitez (Madonna)\, Toni C (Whitney)\, Frank Farion (LaBouche\, Milli Vanilli)\, The Berman Brothers (Amber\, Ultra Nate)\, many more. DESCRIPTION:Lucky Day’s high energy shows have hit the Indie Rock scene hard. Following the release of their debut EP ‘Mondays’ Tom Mckenzie (Drums) and Brady Cavanagh (Guitar/Vocals) have played along the east coast of Australia playing their own headline shows as well as supporting bands such as Crocodylus\, Camino Gold\, ARCHIE and The Terrys. \nThe boys first met in 2019 and started jamming in the shed\, From then on the pair formed an incredible bond. After recording a few tracks at home the boys then hit the Studio to record they’re debut EP\, After the release of ‘Mondays’ the pair have recently been in the studio with renowned Producer/Engineer Jack Nigro and have released their second EP ‘A Good Mothers Hell’ and hit the road for their debut tour.
