GRXCE ‘The Family Traditions’ Tour is coming to the Hoey Moey on April, 8th, supported by Seaweed on Sticks and Temperate!
What started as a solo project for small-town singer, Jamila Grace transformed over the pandemic into GRXCE, an indie rock band comprised of university classmates and strangers plucked from Facebook.
The band self-professes that they make “sad music for you to dance to” pairing gossamer melodies and lush hooks with poetically blunt lyrics that explore the wide, ever-changing spectrum of youth, from celebrating the joys of life to tackling the more difficult subjects of heartache, growing up and familial difficulties.
GRXCE captures the small moments and places them under a magnifying glass, transporting you to a very moment of your own, first capturing your emotions and then luring in with enticing rhythms that have even the smallest of crowds on their feet and dancing along.
DJ Raven will follow the bands.
