Effortlessly blending rock, soul and psychedelic, LAHGO have truly carved out a sonic niche in modern Indie. Frontwoman Mel Bailey couldn’t have put it better when describing the LAHGO sound: ‘it’s kind of like Arctic Monkeys with a sip of Amy Winehouse’.
LAHGO’s second EP, ‘Midnight Revelry’, scheduled for release in June 2023, puts a soulful twist on the classic surf-rock sound, drawing inspiration from the likes of Hiatus Kaiyote and Ocean Alley.
Since bursting onto the scene in the La Nina soaked summer of ‘20/’21, LAHGO have been renowned for their high energy, sellout shows at some of Sydney’s most iconic live music venues.
The band are relishing the chance to export their sound, with dates locked in for Melbourne, Canberra, Wollongong, Newcastle and Byron for their ‘Midnight Revelry’ EP East Coast Tour.
They’ll be supported by Slimjimz and Temperate followed by DJ Salty!
