Kane Muir is a “one-man-blues-band” in a league of his own.
Having earned his stripes from years busking around the world, from the underbelly of New York’s City subways to the birthplace of Jazz in New Orleans; and far too many other cities to mention.
His sound is a combination of various styles, though he would just say “blues” People are often shocked to find that it is just one person & even more so surprised when they find out there is no loop pedal.
Upon his return to Australia Kane won the “Busking by the beach” competition which was judged by Aria award winning musician Diesel.
He has played Woodford Folk Festival, Folk Rhythm & Life Festival, Tanglewood festival, Earth Frequency, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Burning seed & Strawberry Fields.
His debut EP “Live at Everland” came out in June 2022.
Kane has toured up & down the east coast many times in his house truck from Melbourne to as far as Cooktown in Queensland playing in far too many venues to mention.
He recently won The NSW “blues challenge” with Jesse Redwing & performed at Blues fest.
Kane Muir will be followed by DJ Panda until late.
