A seasoned guitarist and vocalist since the late 90s, whose passion for creating and performing shines through in everything he does. Independent Australian singer-songwriter Ryan Giles is a born storyteller whose strong groove-driven guitar picking accompanied by a few crafty harmonica licks has earned him a cult following from over two decades of performing in hundreds of pubs, clubs, music festivals, weddings, and backyard parties across the Great Southern Land.
Ryan has a style of his own, combining the sounds of Blues, Roots, Funk, Hip-hop, and Reggae to create songs that resonate, entice, and delight. Backed by groove-heavy beats, and infectious melodies and coupled with intelligent, positive, and conscious song craft. His debut E.P. ‘The Daily Harp’ and full-length album ‘Ivanhoe Express’ have high rotation on many car stereos and mixtapes across Australia and abroad, with his latest album due for release in 2024.
