Introducing Fella Felafel, a 3 piece grunge/rock covers band from coastal Port Macquarie, NSW.
De-bunking the traditional cover band template and resurfacing the songs that navigated us through our acne – the songs that made us who we are.
A salute to all the great tunes that hit the air-waves through the nineties, naughties and onwards. Tunes that charted and captured the hearts of the thinkers, but weren’t murdered by radio or exploited by television… well, maybe a few for good measure – but even they won’t make you vom in your mouth.
The trio – Dusty, Ash & Jordan – rock punters back to another time, a time before smart phones, the Kardashians, and when cargo shorts were acceptable to wear in public…. ahh, what a time to be alive!
A reconnection to the greatest bands, music + anthems of the 90s and 2000s – inspiring plenty of nostalgia, sing- alongs and a whole lot of dancing.
Thick, punching bass lines weaving in and out of soaring guitar solos, wrapped in amazing melodic vocal harmonies combine for a show that always leaves a chanting crowd at “last drinks” – just like the real deal – we are the alternative.
It’s not dinner music though, so leave ‘ya hearing aids at home if you’re under any illusion that drums have volume dials!
