GNGJ is a highly captivating four-piece Rock-Blues band from the Northern Beaches of Sydney. The band formed in 2010 and has created a super tight sound that delivers conviction.
GNGJ is hitting its stride in 2022 with numerous sold-out shows upon releasing its latest album “THIS IS A RECORDING”. Now being played on over 80 radio stations around the world.
Renowned for gritty & authentic Rock-Blues sound that draws you in, they’ve developed a reputation for delivering their live sound with conviction every time.
Finalists in the Australian Independent Music Awards, Greg Nunan’s songwriting skills stand strong with the band’s showmanship and influence reminiscent of B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and The Meters to name a few.
Greg Nunan has spent the last two decades developing his sound and honing his chops with the legendary Blues Machine at Singapore’s Crazy Elephant and forging a name with his band’s formidable band “The General Jacksons”.
Highlights have seen jams with Deep Purple, and Bett Midler’s horn section, gigs at Austin’s SXSW, Singapore’s Boys Toys Festival, Manly Jazz Festival, and more recently, Moruya Blues & Roots Festival, Headlining Patchewollock Festival in Victoria and Tumut’s ‘Rock The Turf’ Festival. With calls to return to festivals previously played.
